What is Retail Assembly?
Assembly is a partnership between retail stores and an assembly company. We are tasked with assembling all items that a store needs to sell to customers, primarily during their seasonal busy times (Spring & Summer). Assembling products such as grills, tractors, wheelbarrows, yard carts, toolboxes, fitness equipment, furniture, patio items and so much more. One of our major challenges is we literally do a year’s worth of work in just a few months. Some people view this industry as difficult but we see it as an opportunity.
New technicians come in and out of this industry frequently, those that survive we have found that the common denominator is that they have been trained by a true experienced professional. We have found that great training is essential to their success. Lack of quality training will all but ensure failure for anyone seeking a career in this line of work. With our professional training and employee certification process we have made training a “Core” part of our success here at Core Tech Assembly to ensure retail stores will be receiving a technician that can actually handle their assembly needs in-store!
During holiday rushes and events such as Spring Sales Event, Fathers Day, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day the retail stores are very dependent on us to keep their product moving and displays full. If the assembly company is not staffed and successful in these efforts, store sales will suffer and there are unfortunate consequences for retail stores if they don’t have a great partnership with a professional assembly company and a qualified assembler who is properly hired and trained by a top notch assembly program.
